Orton Twitters Concussion Update, R Truth Talks Paying Dues, and More


Randy Orton posted the on his Twitter…
"About to take an Impact test. It will determine if I can be cleared to fight Christian, after receiving a concussion. Wish me luck."

-- In an interview that will be aired in its entirety on Monday at 2:35 pm ET, R-Truth spoke with Busted Open. When asked about paying his dues and working his way up to get to where he is, Truth replied, "It's a long road of paying your dues. I mean, each and every person that's in this business has to go down that road. Some people may not have to. Some people may be given that road instantly because of who they are. For those who are acting like (look at the) sweat, blood and tears to get there man…..when you get there man, it's not nowhere near over yet……It's a long way man, it's hard to get at the top and stay at the top. The struggle still continues man. I'm very proud of the road that I've accomplished man…..the good and the bad, I take them all because that's what made me who I am. All my mistakes, all my accomplishments, the good things I've done, the bad I've done and the mistakes I've learned from, the mistakes I've never done before……all of that made me into what I am now." - Former WWE and WCW manager Clarence Mason turns 46 years old today.

- Former WWE Diva Candice Michelle noted on Twitter that she’s having to pull out of this weekend’s Philadelphia Comic Con. She wrote: “I’ve just been diagnosed with gastroenteritis! AKA “The Stomach Flu! Unfortunately I will not be able to make the Philly Comic Con! Sad, tear!”

- Miss USA Rima Fakih told the following to The Las Vegas Sun regarding her time on WWE Tough Enough:

“I might have been the first voted off because I suffered three fractured ribs, scarred my left leg in four places, and my spine is now a little crooked. But don’t say Miss USA is not tough enough! After Sunday night’s show when I am no longer Miss USA, I will then have the time to start doing physical therapy for those injuries.”

-- On ESPN's SportsCenter on Thursday night, the Miami Heat's Big 3 (Chris Bosh, LeBron James and Dwayne Wade) were compared to the nWo, in the way that they "were booed as much as they were cheered," "won big and often," and that writers were debating if they were "4 life" or "4 right now."
